• The Clay: Learn how raw, local red clay is meticulously prepared using traditional, labor-intensive methods.
• The Wheel: Get hands-on experience at the potter’s wheel (Sakaporuwa), guided by Mr. Karunadasa’s expert hands. You will practice the magic of centering the clay and throwing (shaping) it into a functional piece like a traditional oil lamp (Pahana) or a small bowl.
